The Nock Cortex CF300 Fish Skinner is a small open top table machine with CF-technology (see description below) to skin many fish species.

The fish skinning machine is ideal for the shop counter in a fish shop, for supermarkets, and the catering industry, however is not suited for industrial use.

For a more industrial open top fish skinner please look at the other models Nock has to offer for example the CF420 or S420.

The fish skinner has a blade width of 280mm and a speed of 19 m/min. The CF300 is capable of skinning fish by the following methods:

  • thin skinning with sharp blade
  • pulling off the skin with blunt blade
  • restricted: deep skinning with sharp blade

The fish skinner comes as standard with toothroller with grooves and scraper comb as well as a water cleaning unit for reliable and constant fish skinning operation. The Cortex CF300 fish skinner also comes with an infinitely adjustable blade holder, carry handles, foot switch control and is built from stainless steel.

The fish skinner has the option of adding a stainless steel stand at extra costs and lifts the table top model to the perfect height for skinning fish.

What is CF-technology?

The Nock open top CF fish skinning machines are equipped with a transport roller with grooves (tooth roller). A scraper comb cuts in the grooves of the tooth roller and keeps it clean during operation.

The CF-technology is most suitable especially to skin fish with thick skin and offers advantages because of its universal application for many fish species.

It is also suitable for skinning fish with thin skin, but with less yield when skinning with sharp blade or pulling-off the skin with blunt blade (silver skinning)
